In line with the Ministry of Transport's commitment to bolster the transportation industry in Egypt and support the national private sector, Lieutenant-General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, the Minister of Transport, toured the Geyushi transportation industry factory in the Tenth of Ramadan City. During his visit, the Minister observed the production lines for various buses and minibuses. Notably, he witnessed the factory's use of international technology in bus production and its pioneering initiative in producing minibuses powered by natural gas, crafted entirely by Egyptian artisans.
Given Egypt's rapid urban expansion and the significant advancements across all transportation sectors, such domestic manufacturing is pivotal. The Minister emphasized that fostering these industries will not only enhance the quality and technological standards of mass transportation but also align with the nation's developmental objectives. This ensures improved mobility for citizens across the country's provinces and simultaneously offers employment opportunities for the youth.
